Web VTS Mate (WVM)

Web VTS Mate (WVM) is a simple web-based vessel traffic monitoring solution that displays real-time AIS data and is ideal for small marinas or organizations who simply want to view AIS traffic on an electronic chart or map. Vessels equipped with AIS transponders are displayed on the chart or map as AIS targets with relevant information displayed in information section. You can select an AIS target from a list or from the chart to view the vessel’s details. WVM can generate enter/exit or min/max speed alarms and send notification emails or SMS.

WVM designed for small, low budget companies who need a simple vessel traffic service with basic functionalities and multi-user web interface.

WVM provides an AIS interface that includes the ability to:

• View and track all AIS equipped vessels
• Display specific vessel information

WVM administrator can set alarms and define the rules to generate enter/exit or min/max speed notification emails or SMS specific to each user.

WVM is a unique tool to see your vessels from anywhere. The web-based architecture or WVM allows you to always see where your vessels are. And even if you are out of the office, you are in touch with your ships. A computer with an internet connection is all what is required.

WVM receives AIS data from AIS Server and provides a graphic display of AIS targets onto electronic charts and maps. WVM supports Google maps, Microsoft Virtual Earth maps, Microsoft MapPoint maps, and BSB nautical charts.
