Web VTS displays two types of targets – AIS (triangle) and ARPA (circle).
Inmarsat, Iridium and Globalstar targets are displayed the same as AIS (triangle).

position report within 10 minutes.

Moving (speed greater than 0.5 knots) AIS target equipped with Class A
AIS Transponder that has sent an AIS position report within 11-30 minutes.
Color: blue violet.

Moving (speed greater than 0.5 knots) AIS target equipped with Class A
AIS Transponder that has sent an AIS position report within 31-60 minutes.
Color: violet.

Moving (speed greater than 0.5 knots) AIS target equipped with Class A
AIS Transponder that has sent an AIS position report within 1-2 hours.
Color: grey.

Stationary (speed less than 0.5 knots) AIS target equipped with Class
A AIS Transponder that has sent an AIS position report within 11 minutes-6
hours. Color: black.

Satellite/LRIT target that has sent a position report within 60 minutes.
Color: maroon.

Satellite/LRIT target that has sent a position report within 1-6 hours.
Color: sienna.

Satellite/LRIT target that has sent a position report within 6-12 hours.
Color: light coral.

Satellite/LRIT target that has sent a position report within 12-24 hours.
Color: grey.
